remind me

20 Apr

If you wish to see courage,
seek those who can apologize without excuses.
If you wish to see strength,
seek those who have it in them to forgive.
If you wish to see humility,
seek those who have much but live with gratefulness.
If you wish to see patience,
seek those who carry on with the little that they have.
If you wish to see maturity,
seek those who respond instead of react.
If you wish to see wisdom,
seek those who strive to learn from everyone they meet.
If you wish to see beauty,
seek those who can smile amidst the chaos and pain.
If you wish to see loyalty,
seek those who look past the temporal.
If you wish to see trust,
seek those who can share their heart with another.
If you wish to see responsibility,
seek those who prove themselves worthy of another’s heart.
If you wish to see generosity,
seek those who help when they themselves are in need of it.
If you wish to see happiness,
seek those who found no room for envy.
If you wish to see love,
seek those who’ve maintained homes.
If you wish to see passion,
seek those who enjoy what they do, with their heart on the goal.
If you wish to see faith,
seek those who believe there’s wisdom behind all struggles.
If you wish to see sincerity,
seek not the other, but your own heart.
And if you wish to learn all these,
then it is not enough to seek; but to truly live through it all–
always with, through and for The One Who gave you life.
